Exactly eleven years ago, an event occurred that radically changed my life.
March 13, 2010 I posted on the blog story about the festival and started blogging regularly.
Actually blog Ammo1 was created almost 16 years ago - on August 26, 2005, but I wrote the first post in 2008. In 2008 I wrote six posts, in 2009 only two, so it doesn't count. But from March 13, 2010 until today, I have written 4400 posts. Since fall 2010, I have been writing to the blog every day without missing a day.
When I started blogging, I could not imagine that thanks to the blog I would be able to travel half the world, visit many cities in our country and find myself in places like which an ordinary person can never get into (from the tunnel of the metro under construction to the dam of the Sayano-Shushenskaya hydroelectric power station and from the plant producing microcircuits to the engine room ferry).
A year ago, the blog was my main job, but then everything changed and now such a volume of work has fallen on me that I do not have time to write a blog and post information on the sites of my projects Lamptest.ru and Elerus.ru .
My main job now is custom tests. I test light bulbs, fixtures, power banks, extension cords, cables. These are mainly Chinese pre-production samples: thanks to my tests, companies choose the best models to order.
The results of these tests are not published on the blog - they are received by customers in the form of reports.
I am sure that I am doing a very useful job - already now many good products of very well-known brands are sold in stores, and they have become good also thanks to my work.
Over the past year, the number of such tests began to grow like a snowball and now it took all my time and effort. For example, for the last three I tested nine models of smart bulbs (one very large and well-known company chooses the best Chinese manufacturer). Each model has two copies. For each instance, more than 50 tests (the lamp is tested in three brightness modes for three color temperatures and for three colors).
Now there are three more orders for smart lamps ahead, but I believe that sooner or later I will rake this pile. :)
I try to devote at least some time to the blog (but often half an hour is left for this in the evening). Today I decided to give myself a "day off" and do Lamptest. I haven't published my test results there since last summer and it certainly won't do anywhere. During this time, a lot of everything was tested, but the hands did not get around to photograph the bulbs and process the results. Today I published results for 69 lamps and luminaires (Remez, Polaroid, Geniled, cheap lamps from Leroy Merlin, Gauss smart lamps). Hopefully tomorrow I will make a bunch of new Nanoslight Ra95 lamps (they are already tested), and a lot of scattered lamps.
Elerus will also reach his hands sooner or later. A lot has already been collected there, but there is still a lot to collect.
Future plans in the blog:
- Test of CR2032 batteries (everything is tested, you just need to process the results);
- An experiment with turning a light bulb into an "eternal" one;
- Test of new batteries "Auchan";
- Test of expensive batteries of major brands (to have something to compare with);
- Comparison of Flarx and Energizer batteries from Fixprice;
- Test light bulb Ergolux for 33 rubles from the traffic light;
- Test of Philips bulbs from Fixprice;
- An article about the pulsation of light from lamps with a linear driver when the mains voltage drops;
- A story about two very useful bank cards;
- An overview of the super-tech electric mop Karcher.
