The most common application ideas are:
- Creation of flower beds. The beds can be laid out as boring rectangular or of any shape, limited only by your imagination. The joints between the bricks, arising during shaping, are sealed with cement. The height of such beds should not exceed 5 rows. The earth is poured inside and flowers are planted.
- Broken bricks can be used to create narrow paths that will make it easier to move between beds in rainy weather. The joints, in this case, are sealed with fine gravel mixed with cement and sand. This is done so that weeds do not break through the gaps, which can destroy the track completely.
- It is easy to strengthen the posts or vertical iron pipes of swings and horizontal bars with fragments of bricks. To do this, broken building material is poured into the hole around the post or pipe and filled with cement.
- An alpine slide, created using bricks, stones, tree bark and pebbles, decorated with a variety of flowers, will be a worthy decoration of the site.
- From more complete blocks, small columns can be erected at the entrance doors. Their shape can be either square or curly. The flowerpots installed on them will additionally decorate the entrance.
Old brick buildings
Old blocks that have already been in use but remain intact are ideal for construction. It is not worth building a house from such material, but for the following buildings it is optimal:
- Brazier. When erecting it, 8 rows of brick are laid out, after which the structure is strengthened with iron corners, on which 2 more rows are laid. It is better to lay out the last row and side walls from new refractory bricks.
- Waste incineration pit. For this design, it is necessary to use exclusively refractory bricks. A hole is dug at a distance from both residential and household buildings. The bottom and walls are laid out with bricks. Can be laid out in even rows or in various patterns.
- Old brick is used for wall cladding inside outbuildings. The main thing is to correctly calculate the square of the structure so that the brick is enough.
- Outdoor shower or toilet. You should not regret the time it will take to build. Firstly, a brick structure will last longer than a wooden one, and secondly, it is much more beautiful.
- Wood-burning stove. If you develop a project in advance and create a drawing, then it will not be difficult to build a furnace. The main thing is not to forget about the fire resistance of the brickwork.
