Despite this, not all growers can boast of a bright bouquet of pale pink, white or red inflorescences. Often, Schlumberger refuses to bloom at all, or the process proceeds sluggishly and poorly.
Mistake # 1
Often, the blooming of the Decembrist is hampered by an oversized pot in which it grows. The plant has a meager root system, so a small earthen computer is enough for it. Otherwise, all the forces of the Schlumberger will be put into the growth of the roots and you can forget about the lush flowering.
Mistake # 2
In order for the Decembrist to bloom, he needs a full period of rest. To ensure it, from the first days of October to the end of November, it is necessary to increase the intervals between waterings to once a week. In this case, the amount of liquid should be reduced by at least two times. Since the beginning of December, the irrigation regime has been gradually restored. This allows the plant to enter the flowering phase.

It is very important to maintain a comfortable temperature in order to maintain a rest period. From the end of September, the flower needs to be kept cool. During this time, the arrow of the thermometer in the room should not fall below 12 ° C and rise above 14 ° C. An insulated balcony will help to create such conditions. During this period, the Schlumberger must not be left next to radiators and stoves.
In early December, the plant should be returned to a warmer room, where the average daily temperature ranges from 15 to 20 ° C. If the rest period is missed, the Decembrist will not be able to please with bright lush flowering.
