I decided at my dacha to make a water supply system from "food" stainless steel, and it turned out to be a very interesting pipeline with unique properties, 50 meters long. No special, expensive press tools were needed. I managed with two wrenches and the strength of my hands. There was no need for a utility room either. The pipe unfolds easily and without constraint.
I am building a bath house, now I will start the interior decoration of the bath department, as well as warm floors. Earlier I bought 50 meters of corrugated stainless steel for the water supply system. Why exactly he, and not polypropylene. The fact is that although my bathhouse will sometimes be heated in winter, it will mostly be frozen. And this means that the PPR, in the presence of not drained water, over time, not in the first years, will collapse and flow. But the properties of corrugated stainless steel, I'm not afraid of the word, are unique. She is not afraid of freezing. In addition, it will not be gnawed by rodents and it has no joints that can be narrowed. Its price tag is the same as that of XLPE with an oxygen barrier, but the properties are better.
Since the pipe is still idle, I decided to use it for a summer water supply, and why not? No sooner said than done. First of all, I mounted a table for the station and filter. Fortunately, there is not much material left after the installation of the roof.
I put the station on this table, the suction pipe at the station will be from the PPR, because the station was previously powered from it. Then he made the strapping. In the gallery, scroll through the photos. There is a photo of the installation of special fittings.
- At the end of the article, I posted a video with the first launch of the water supply system.
As a result, this whole harness looks like this:
Next, I install the suction and delivery lines. The pipeline will be laid through the air as if it were an electrical cable. Photos in the gallery >>>
It is very convenient to handle the pipe, you do not need to install corners on it, the pipe bends by the force of the hands, not to say that it is very easy. But the shape of "stainless steel keeps great.
As a result, the pipe was laid almost throughout the entire site, three water points were installed.
A more detailed summary in the video:
As a result, the pipe is laid, I liked working with it. Stainless steel is stainless steel, forever. I took it for my hard earned money, directly from the manufacturer, who is interested here is the link Stahlmann. So that they do not ask in the comments.
