Several years ago I made hanging pots for a vegetable garden or garden out of 5 liter bottles. They are not difficult enough, you don't need a lot of materials. If you often do needlework, then you will find almost all the materials
For manufacturing you need:
· A pair of 5 liter bottles;
· Nail polish remover;
· Acrylic paint;
· Decoupage napkins;
· PVA glue or other;
· Soldering iron;
· Universal varnish;
· Thick rope;
· Any ring.
Step 1.
Cut both bottles to 1/3 of the neck.
Step 2.
Degrease the cut parts of the bottle with nail polish remover.
Step 3.
We paint (prime) with acrylic paint and leave to dry for 20-30 minutes.
Step 4.
Now that the paint has dried, we glue the decoupage napkins. The variety of napkins is huge, so you can always choose according to your taste.
We glue on PVA diluted with water 1 to 1.
Step 5.
We make a hole in the lid with a soldering iron or a heated nail and paint it.
Step 6.
When the decoupage napkins are dry, cover with universal varnish 2 times with an interval of 20 minutes. Now the pots will not be afraid of water.
Step 7.
We make holes for the rope on 4 sides.
Step 8.
We take 4 pieces of rope 96 cm long. We tie them to the first pot, then we passed them through the holes in the second and also tied them.
Step 9.
A ring was tied to the other end of the rope.
Everything, the hanging planter-pot is ready. Can be planted and hung in the garden.
