Dear friends, hello!
Everyone usually throws out cans, but not us! We will definitely come up with something beautiful and interesting from them. So today, we have embodied 2 attractive ideas from small cans.
Here are the materials we needed:
1. Cans;
2. Mold;
3. Self-made self-hardening mass;
4. Liquid for removing varnish, sandpaper, PVA glue;
5. Acrylic paints;
6. Acrylic varnish.
FIRST IDEA.
Step 1.
We remove all labels from the tin can, clean it with sandpaper (especially sharp edges) and degrease it with nail polish remover.
Step 2.
We prime the jar with acrylic paint using a sponge.
Leave to dry for 1-2 hours.
Step 3.
We make a homemade mass (this is a cheap analogue of polymer clay, recipe here). We form the mass into molds and immediately, while it is damp, glue it onto the jar with PVA glue.
We leave the mass to dry for 12-18 hours.
Step 4.
When the mass has dried, paint it in lilac, dry it, and tint it a little white.
Step 5.
We apply acrylic varnish.
Step 6.
Cut out the foam rubber and insert it into the jar.
Here is such a wonderful pincushion.
SECOND IDEA.
Step 1.
We prepare the second jar, in the same way as the first. Skinning, wiping and priming.
Step 2.
As in the first version, we make a mass, mold it in a mold and glue it to the jar.
Step 3.
After a while, when the mass has dried, we cover it with paint and acrylic varnish.
Here is such a super-duper candlestick!
