Often, many rely on previously seen ideas and techniques that can be found in a number of other apartments. Designer Olesya Berezovskaya spoke about unconventional solutions, many of which are not yet so well known to the inhabitants of our country.
7. More than one carpet
We are used to the fact that in one room there is only space for one carpet. However, this is not an axiom. Western designers often use two or more carpets in their projects, superimposing them on top of each other.
At the same time, carpets can be shifted or interchanged, transforming the perception of the interior. Layering is always in trend. The downside of this technique is double cleaning. To make it easier, choose lint-free products.
6. Poof instead of a coffee table
You can get rid of the formulaic look of the living room by simply replacing the usual coffee table with a pouf. There are wide models with a fairly rigid frame that will perfectly cope with the functions of the table.
Modern models can fit into almost any interior.
5. Wicker furniture
Many people think that wicker furniture is an attribute of outdoor terraces and country houses, but this is not so. A bed with a rattan headboard or a wicker chair can lighten the interior and let in more air.
4. Full wall panel
An accent wall in the form of a panel made of wood, plaster or mirrored panels is increasingly found in the projects of Russian designers. However, most people still prefer the safer alternative - colorization.
Of course, this option is more versatile - it will be easier to update a painted wall. However, it doesn't look so interesting.
3. Vintage furniture
This technique is in the spirit of the trend towards smart consumption. "Grandma's" chests of drawers, chairs and sideboards are no longer considered a relic of the past, but so far not everyone has succeeded in correctly integrating them into the interior.
2. Nude
Nude - the story is not about "naked" photos. Intimate motives in the interior should not border on vulgarity. This can be anatomically patterned tiles in the bathroom, or pillow covers with a stylized pattern.
1. My own stylist
As a rule, thinking over the future interior on their own, many do not think about stylistic details, limiting themselves to buying a blanket or a couple of posters. However, this is not enough for the interior "from the picture".
This does not mean that you have to renew the flowers in the vase every week: start, for example, with a bookcase - try to combine books by color and size.
