Good afternoon, dear guests and subscribers of my channel!
This is my second home, which we recently moved into, and I have already started up a self-assembled heating system. House area - 134 sq.m.: ground floor - 67 sq.m., installed 7 radiators and underfloor heating throughout the area, attic floor - 67 sq.m.: 4 radiators without underfloor heating system, on this floor - only bedrooms and bathroom.
When installing the system, I already knew in advance that I would definitely not heat this floor with a warm floor. will act as a comfortable floor for me, i.e. the surface temperature will reach a maximum of +24 ° C.
Below, I give the temperature ranges of the working system in the modes: comfort and heating.
The "heating" mode - his task is to compensate for the heat loss at home, the "comfort" mode - don't give a damn about the heat loss in the house, their compensation is assigned to the radiators. Plus, a comfortable temperature won't burn your feet.
I understand that a warm surface is cool and convenient for everyone: children, parents, and especially grandparents, who have slow blood flow and legs want to be kept warm, it's really comfortable, which is beyond doubt, but this does not mean that the floor needs to be heated house. The system should be shut down periodically for several days.
Why disconnect? There are three reasons for this ...
Reason # 1 is addiction.
Accustomed to the warm floor, children roll on cold floors in children. kindergartens, therefore, enough a couple of days to get hypothermia and "hello" runny nose.
Reason # 2 is the greenhouse effect.
A permanently switched on warm floor is a greenhouse environment for residents, there is no immunity support and the body very quickly gets used to good things. The immune system has no reason to "turn on" to protect against hypothermia, it falls asleep. There is no natural hardening, therefore, the likelihood of the body getting cold increases several times, going out into the cold outside or getting wet in a light rain.
Reason # 3 - dry air.
I heated my first house with underfloor heating. And recently I remembered again what it was like when I visited the house of a childhood friend, where there are no radiators at all, but only a system of warm floors. Dry air "clogs" the respiratory system, you need to put humidifiers.
Therefore, I did not do floor heating in the bedrooms at all.
From the author
Using a warm floor in my house, even at a temperature of +24 ° C, I periodically turn off the system for several days. I leave the warm floor only in humid areas, where the air cannot be dried out.
Therefore, there are a couple of simple tips:
1. Do not overdo it and from time to time turn off the warm floor to start the hardening mode. Contrast is always good for the body and the immune system will not completely relax.
2. Underfloor heating is an auxiliary system that is not designed to heat the house, therefore, if you are now on at the stage of the project at home or at the stage of laying communications - make leads to the radiators, then do not you will regret!
That's all. I hope you enjoyed the article and became useful.
