If you plan to spend a lot of time at the dacha in the summer, you should take care of the comfort. Sometimes it is enough to freshen up the decoration and furniture a little - and life in the renewed environment becomes much more pleasant.
Designer Olga Shapovalova talked about some interesting solutions that will help transform the interior and exterior of the country house.
8. Dark facade
The exterior of the house is no less important than its interior design. If the house is made of wood, painting the facade in dark colors is an excellent solution. This technique is not typical for Russia, and will certainly look impressive.
In addition, you can paint windows and doors in a contrasting shade. The only negative is that dark surfaces heat up quickly.
7. Colored ceiling
Where else to experiment with decoration, if not in the country. A country house is a great place to finally decide on a colored ceiling.
At the same time, it is better to decorate the walls with light paint so as not to be mistaken with a combination of colors. For coloring, choose complex shades, so the interior will look more expensive.
6. Colored floor
An alternative to a colored ceiling can be a colored floor. Cover old boards with paint and they will have a completely different look.
As with the previous technique, the main thing here is not to overdo it with bright colors, so the rest of the finish should be made neutral.

Dacha is a great place for digital detox. This is a good reason for a while to give up TV and abundant use of communications. But in order not to get bored at all, you can, for example, install a projector.
With its help, it will be possible to equip a kind of home theater, in which it will be comfortable to spend evenings watching movies.
4. Furniture
A large budget is usually not allocated for furnishing a summer cottage, nevertheless, there should still be some kind of furniture. If its appearance does not satisfy you, this is a reason to try on the role of a restorer.
Sand and paint an old vintage chair, or try re-upholstering the chair. Such experiments, with due diligence, often turn out to be successful.

At the dacha, you often have to get your hands dirty, but this is not a reason to completely forget about comfort and not pay attention to textiles.
Lacy tablecloths, at least one soft blanket, light curtains - all these details will help to brighten up the everyday life of the country.

It is possible to decorate the interior without high costs with the help of improvised means. Perhaps somewhere in the attic you will find a map of the world, a wicker basket, a kerosene lamp or a mirror in an antique frame.
All this can be incorporated into the interior. Black and white photographs or, for example, a stamp collection are also suitable.

Consider lighting your home area. Spotlights with directional light can be used to illuminate outbuildings.
To decorate the paths, solar-powered ground luminaires are suitable, which are "embedded" directly into the soil. They will help you not to stumble in the dark. To create a mood on the terrace or veranda, you can purchase a garland.
