Alkaline batteries at a record low price - 96 rubles 80 kopecks for a pack of 12 AA and AAA pieces (the cost of one battery is 8.07 rubles) appeared in the stores of Traffic Light.
I bought them and tested them.

The last time the batteries bought from Svetofore turned out to be a fake - salt batteries were sold there under the guise of alkaline (https://ammo1.livejournal.com/1220686.html). Those batteries were called Ergolux Promo and were sold in pink packs. There is no brand at all on these front, only the inscription "Promo", the same Ergolux is indicated on the back.

Inside each pack, there were three bulk packs of ordinary Ergolux alkaline batteries.

Such batteries can be found on sale, but twice as expensive.

I have tested these batteries and compared them with leading brands.

Two copies of each type of battery were tested. The diagrams show the average capacity in mWh.

The first test - a discharge with a current of 100 mA to 0.7 V shows what maximum energy the battery can give.

Super-cheap batteries from Traffic Light hardly differ in the amount of stored energy from Energizer Max, but are four times cheaper. Duracell and GP Super batteries have more capacity, but the difference does not exceed 15%.

The second test is to discharge to 0.9 V with an equivalent resistance of 3.9 ohms for AA and 5.1 ohms for AAA. This test shows how the batteries are suitable for powerful loads (toys with motors, blood pressure monitors and other medical equipment).

In heavy load mode, the difference between the batteries is even smaller, it does not exceed 9%.

I will give all the measurement results for both copies of each battery model.

Surprisingly, the batteries at the price of 8 rubles apiece turned out to be quite decent and now this is the lowest price for an alkaline battery. It is important to understand that it was these batteries that turned out to be good - green ones in red boxes, with an indicated shelf life of 12.2026. It is possible that the batteries in the traffic light from another batch may be completely different.
