I am a kind-hearted person, although I do not earn very much, but I could not refuse a request to those in need. Be it a marginal person at the entrance, relatives or beggars near the church.
With the passage of time and accumulated life experience, I realized one thing. Any penny must be earned, you cannot work, apply for a pension. After all, the state takes care of the weak. The only one-time help can be only to relatives and friends who find themselves in difficult situations, in exceptional cases to strangers.
But what to do when they ask for money all the time, but you do not know how to refuse?
First way of refusal:
Surely you have a relative or friend who does not know how to live within his means, constantly borrows money, but at the same time without problems, after a while he returns. This situation is unpleasant, acting on the nerves. Therefore, we do this: When you see his phone call (naturally he will beg), pick up the phone and tell him something like this, ahead of him:
- "Oh hello, I just wanted to call you, I'm broke now, could you lend me a certain amount."
This turn of events usually baffles them, because they are used to only taking someone else's. The repetition of these dialogues scares off such a relative (friend), their greed will not allow you to bother in the future, which will save wealth and nerves.
Second way of refusal:
This method works great with yard "bruises", which constantly callou the eyes near the front doors and incubate "eggs" on
yard benches. If you had contact with marginals and you have allegedly lent five, ten rubles or even fifty rubles. Then the next time you give an irrevocable ten (fifty dollars or a hundred), solemnly pronounce the following words to the sour yard muzzle:
- I give you these ten rubles, use them for good, no need to return, with God! But on one condition, don't come to me for more money ...
Believe it or not, this method works, although it costs a small penny. at the moment I don’t have any dialogues with people breathing fumes.
Third way of refusal:
This method is the most difficult and at the same time the easiest. You just need to be able to speak one word:
"NO"
Don't be a mumble, don't corrupt your soul with your indulgence, but just learn to pronounce a three-letter word: No I will not give!
You will see when you learn to do this without remorse, then it will become much easier to live!
