Everyone who has wintered in a country house at least once knows very well what the heating problem is. The heat escapes from such a house the faster the older it gets. In this case, it is necessary to carry out the procedure of repeated, additional insulation. But such an operation costs quite a lot. Unless you come up with something special. Vera Ivashko, a resident of the village of Ozera, Poltava region (Ukraine), knows what exactly can be done about this.
Reducing the seasonal heating costs of a country house is a great idea. Especially if you live in such a house all year round. The easiest and most effective way to achieve the desired result in this field is to create an additional external cladding. It's no secret that today many companies and craftsmen offer such services. But it costs a lot of money like this, and most importantly, they cost the materials that are used to insulate the house.
An elegant way out of the price problem was found by Vera Ivashko, a 58-year-old resident of the Ozera village of Poltava region. According to her, she had been looking for an opportunity to cut costs for heating for a long time, until she decided that the only way to solve this problem was to make suitable insulation. True, Vera could not afford to purchase expensive materials, and therefore found another way out.
The insulation works started from the roof. The woman leveled the ceiling with her own hands, after which she moved on to internal heating. The stove and stove in the house were tiled. The floor was leveled and improved with clay and glass bottles, and the top was covered with regular linoleum. As a result, the design made it possible to create an air cushion, which significantly raised the temperature inside the room.
The floor solution was so successful that the woman decided to use it to clad the entire house from the outside. It took about 5 thousand bottles to cover all the walls, Vera says. It was possible to carry out the insulation work with our own hands without the involvement of specialists. The woman did everything alone, in about 1.5 months of work. The only exception was work on the roof, here she had to call professional roofers for help.

The success of Vera Ivashko's decision is best illustrated by the figures for utility bills. If earlier you had to pay for electricity about 1 thousand hryvnia (approximately 2700 RR. rubles) per month (since the heater was constantly working), now it takes about 1,500 thousand. The cost of the cladding itself was about 2-2.2 thousand hryvnia. So the savings are on the face!
