Characteristics of super early varieties and hybrids

Holland is a country with a rather harsh climate, in July the air temperature reaches only 17 degrees. That is why breeders had to work a lot to create tomatoes with a short ripening period of fruits, adapted to greenhouse conditions.

Lady Shady F1

Unpretentious determinant hybrid of the first line. Ripening occurs early - after 98-104 days from germination.

Ornamental bushes, reaching a height of 50-60 cm, with moderate foliage, branching and a powerful root system. The plant forms 7-8 fruit-bearing clusters, each of which forms 4-5 tomatoes.

Fruits are moderately ribbed, bright red with a dense, shiny skin. The pulp is juicy, sweetish on the palate with slightly noticeable sourness, multi-seeded. The mass of tomatoes ranges from 120 to 200 g. 4-6 kg are collected from the bush. The fruits are used both fresh and in preparations. They have a special taste in ketchups, sauces and juices.

The hybrid is able to withstand short dry periods and is resistant to temperature extremes.

Esmira F1

Indeterminate high-yielding early hybrid tomato (begins to ripen in 90-100 days). It has very short internodes, due to which the plant is able to tie many fruit clusters - up to 10-11 pieces, each of which forms 4-6 large tomatoes. Greenhouse hybrid is resistant to most traditional diseases, forms ovaries even under unsuitable and stressful growing conditions.

The bush is formed into one trunk, it reaches 1.8 m in height, but not spreading, gives 5-6 kg of tasty tomatoes: sweetish with a slight sourness. Almost all fruits are large, rounded, pale pink in color.

On the lower brushes, the weight of each is 300-350 g, closer to the top of the bush - 190-220 g each. Tomatoes are more suitable for salads, but smaller fruits are suitable for canning. The yield is 10-12 kg per bush per season.

Solerosso F1

The determinant hybrid matures 90 days after seed germination. The bush is medium spreading. On the brushes, 5-6 tomatoes are tied. The Solerosso variety is considered a high-yielding variety. From 1 sq. m remove up to 8 kg of tomatoes.

Fruits are even, small in size, flat-rounded, distinguished by high taste characteristics, thin but dense skin and good keeping quality. The taste is sweet, without wateriness.

Tomatoes are processed into juices, pasta, mashed potatoes. The dense skin allows them to be used in homemade preparations; they are also suitable for pickling and salting as a whole.

Donald F1

Tomato Donald is a determinant undersized hybrid. Ripens in 80-95 days after germination. The bushes are compact, strong, the height of the shoots does not exceed 45-50 cm. 7-10 tomatoes are formed on the brushes. The hybrid does not need pinning.

Tomatoes are neat, round, smooth, dense, in the phase of maturity, rich red. Their weight is 40-60 g. Tomatoes are well stored (up to 2 months), they do not lose their qualities during transportation. The pulp is moderately juicy, sugary, the taste harmoniously combines sweetness and sourness.

Tomatoes are used universally - for fresh consumption and for various winter preparations. Their small size and dense skin allow them to be preserved as a whole. The culture is resistant to diseases: nematode, verticillium and fusarium.

Magnus F1

Semi-determinant hybrid, the fruits of which ripen 90 days after seed germination. Magnus F1 sets fruit well in stressful and unfavorable conditions,

The bush grows up to 1.5 m. The manufacturer recommends forming it into 1 stem. The foliage is dense, green, of medium size. 6-7 brushes are formed on each plant.

The fruits are slightly ribbed at the base, dense, do not crack, the color is red. Each weight varies from 120 to 140 g. The taste is pleasant, with a characteristic aroma.

From 1 sq. m plantings are harvested about 14-16 kg. The culture is resistant to rootworm nematode, fusarium, cladosporium, verticillosis.

Tomato is versatile, but usually, due to its early ripening period, it is eaten fresh in summer salads.

High-yielding hybrids

Below are early ripening tomatoes with excellent yields. Hybrids show good results both indoors and outdoors.

Tiara F1

Another super early hybrid belonging to the Dutch group. Its fruits are especially tasty when canned. The plant is a determinant type, in a greenhouse it grows up to 1.2 m. It is formed into 2-3 stems, which require support and tying. The variety is unpretentious, capable of producing good yields even in non-standard conditions.

Fruits are medium in size, rounded with a small "nose", colored bright red. Their usual weight is up to 200 g, pulp with a sweetish balanced taste, used in any form.

With regular watering and careful fertilization, you can achieve high yield rates - 18 kg per 1 sq. m.

Classic F1

Ripening of tomatoes begins already 95 days after germination. In unfavorable weather, this period can extend up to 105 days.

The bushes are compact determinant type, reach a height of 0.8-1 m. They are able to set fruits even in the heat, they can withstand a short drought.

The tomatoes are medium-sized, they are distinguished by an elongated plum-like shape, the skin is glossy red, the flesh is dense, the weight is from 80 to 110 g.

Subject to agrotechnical rules, each plant produces up to 4 kg of fruit. Classic F1 is suitable for fresh use, for the production of tomato products and can be excellently preserved.

Benito F1

Benito F1 belongs to determinate tomatoes, is characterized by unpretentious care. Although the bushes are small in height (50-60 cm, rarely 80 cm), a garter is required, since the plant is not able to maintain vertical position under the weight of a large number of fruits that are formed on all types of shoots (pinching is not required).

The fruits are small - 40-70 g, sometimes there are specimens of 100 g. The shape is a little elongated, such tomatoes are popularly called "cream". They are consumed fresh and used for all types of processing.

The hybrid tomato has consistently high yields. Experienced farmers with 1 sq. m of beds, up to 25 kg of tomatoes are harvested. However, the plant is susceptible to diseases: stolbur and apical rot.

As you can see, Dutch-bred super early greenhouse tomatoes are good in all aspects. They delight gardeners with a short ripening period, excellent taste and abundant harvests. At the same time, they are undemanding in care, therefore, even a novice gardener can achieve high results.
