Bread dressing contains the following useful components:
- vitamin D, H, group B;

Rules for making bread dressings:
- Feed tomatoes and cucumbers with bread during the period of vegetative mass formation and ovary growth for a bountiful harvest.

- It is not recommended to exceed the dosage indicated for the garden bed, because the root system of vegetable crops can be damaged.

- It is not permissible to use liquid manure and poultry droppings simultaneously with bread feeding.
- When treating soils with high acidity with bread infusion, it is recommended to add dolomite flour or crushed chalk to the composition.
- The procedure is carried out in the evening on a warm ground. Top dressing in hot weather is prohibited to prevent damage to roots and stems.
The main fertilizer is prepared as follows:
- dried rye bread crumbs are poured into a tank or bucket, the container is filled to 2/3;
- the product is poured with heated water and closed with a lid, oppression is placed on top;
- the bucket is placed in a darkened warm place for 10-14 days;
- then the fertilizer is filtered, the liquid is diluted with water;
- the dosage for tomatoes and cucumbers may differ, it is important to take into account the timing of top dressing.
Bread dressing options
To prepare an infusion with the addition of nettle, the following steps are performed:
- up to 1/3 of the chopped nettle is placed in a container;
- wheat or rye crackers are added to the dishes to 1/3 of the volume;
- the composition is poured with heated water, closed with a lid, a load is placed on top;
- the fertilizer is infused for 8-10 days;
- then the product is filtered and diluted.
The addition of weeds (nettle, comfrey, dandelion, etc.) to the composition increases the nutritional value of the composition.
To prepare a top dressing with ash, the following steps will be required:
- rye crackers (1 kg) are added to a barrel with a volume of 100 liters;
- sifted wood ash (2-3 l) is added to the composition;
- the product is poured with heated water;
- the dishes are closed with a lid and oppression;
- the tub is placed in a warm place for 7 days;
- the product is filtered, diluted with clean water in a ratio of 1: 5.
The recipe will require the following components:
- iodine (30 ml);
- black bread (1 loaf);
- water (9 l).
Crackers are poured into the container, filled with water, iodine is added to the composition. The components are mixed, the container is hermetically sealed. The composition is infused for 7 days, then distributed in plastic bottles, closed with lids. When feeding, the composition is diluted with water, 1 bucket of clean water is required for 1 liter of infusion. The composition is optimal for feeding plants in the process of growing seedlings and planting in open ground.
Cucumbers are fed during flowering and during the formation of ovaries. The composition is poured under the roots. The agent is diluted in advance in water at the rate of 1 liter of the agent per 1 bucket of water.
Plants need to be shed with a small amount of clean water, then 500 ml of fertilizer is added under each bush. At the end of the procedure, the beds are watered with clean water and the soil next to the plants is loosened. An interval of 8-10 days is maintained between feeding procedures.
