In today's article, I want to share one secret with you. This information will be especially useful for residents of private houses that do not have a central sewerage system. In such a case, a drain pit or, as it is commonly called, a septic tank, saves.
The law states that waste can only be disposed of in private territory. In this case, plastic or concrete rings must be inserted into the pit so that the earth does not absorb waste.
If you organize an overflow system, it is allowed to make the last pit without a bottom so that clean water goes into the ground. Then solid waste will remain in the first pit. Once every one or two months, you need to call a vacuum truck to pump out the garbage from the pit.
When the surrounding area is too small, there is simply no place to dig an overflow hole.
This problem affected me, so I went to the administration for clarifications. In my case, you can only dig an overflow hole behind the fence. So I asked if I could do it. The administration responded with a categorical refusal!
This state of affairs did not suit me. I went to collect information from neighbors who somehow managed to dig a hole behind the fence. It turned out that the neighbors dug a hole not to drain waste, but to collect rain and snow water that accumulates at the fence.
It was then that I understood everything! On the beaten track, I again went to the administration. I was allowed to dig a drainage hole for melt water behind the fence. They just warned me that no communications should pass next to my site.
Everything fell into place. I dug a drainage hole, and therefore quietly connected it to the drain. Clean water began to sink into the ground, and the first pit gradually filled with solid waste.
Now I call the flushers no more than 1 - 2 times a year.
I am telling you how I managed to make such a pit!
- 1. I dug a hole behind the fence, put 2 concrete rings into it, and covered it with a concrete lid on top. For these purposes, I needed special equipment: an excavator and a tow truck, because you can't do it with your own hands.
- 2. Then I drilled holes in the cover. If there is no drill, you can pierce them with a crowbar.
- 3. Further out of the drainage pit, I drilled a hole into the drain.
- 4. Using ordinary sewer pipes, I connected two pits. The cracks were blown out with construction foam.
- 5. He covered the hole behind the fence with earth.
I plan to pour good soil on top in the future in order to arrange a neat flower bed in this place.
The main thing is that I have done everything according to the law - you will not undermine!
