Many citizens buy spices directly from a special mill. The thing is quite convenient, but still not in all situations. Sometimes you may need to remove all the spices at once or reuse the mill. To do this, of course, you must open the container. But how can this be done easily and without the use of "barbaric" methods? The design and construction of the mill looks rather complicated. However, in fact, it opens easily and quickly. If you know how.
The spice mill is quite a useful thing. Many of us willingly take these devices at all kinds of promotions and sales in stores. True, this kitchen device has one serious drawback - the manufacturers conceive these mills as a disposable storage device. It is understood that after the pepper (or any other spice) inside the container with the mill runs out, the person will simply throw it away and buy a new one.
Needless to say that such an approach can in no way be called serious and rational? The only trouble is that in the design of most of these mills, the lid does not have any thread or spiral. This is because manual disassembly of the device with subsequent reassembly was not initially provided by the manufacturer. However, the mill can be disassembled quickly and easily. And without the use of "barbaric" methods capable of disrupting the design and render the entire system unusable.
To open the mill, we need a towel, a small clean container, boiling water, and a couple of strong hands. So, first we pour boiling water into a container, after which we immediately lower a plastic mill into it and hold it in this position for a couple of minutes. After that, we take out the mill, wrap it with a towel and, with a confident movement of two hands, pull the structure in different directions. A little effort and the mill is dismantled! Can be refilled after drying. For assembly, it is enough to put the cutter lid on the neck of the jar and press down well.
