Hello dear friends!
Nature is beautiful! This also applies to flora and fauna. The latter has a huge variety of different cultures. Most of them are useful for humans, but some are capable of causing irreparable harm to the health of both humans and animals.
Today I decided to tell you about 4 types of plants that you probably meet in everyday life, but do not know about their harmfulness and danger. Some cause allergy attacks in people, others leave burns on the body, and still others provoke severe poisoning if they are added to food.
At the same time, pest plants are of great danger not to adults, but to children. Kids sometimes cannot pass by a beautiful flower or grass, they want to touch the plant, pluck it as a keepsake. Therefore, you need to know the enemy by sight.
1. Aconite
He is also called the Fighter. Aconite is found on plains, abandoned fields, as well as in city flower beds. The plant is tall, multi-colored beautiful flowers bloom on it.
In ancient times, aconite was used as a poison to impregnate arrowheads. Also, the juice from the stem of the plant was added to the water to make it shipped.
If you eat aconite, the central nervous system will immediately begin to suffer. Also, a person's heart rhythm will break, blood will begin to flow more slowly through the veins. Because of this, the body goes numb, and in the end death occurs.
2. Milestone
This plant is poisonous, it is called differently. From those names that I have personally heard, I can single out cicuta, dog angelica, cat parsley and gorigolov.
This flower grows in a damp climate, it can reach a height of 1.5 meters. When the plant is young, it resembles celery or parsley and has a pronounced carrot scent.
Milestone inflorescences are white, reminiscent of umbrellas. They are not too dangerous, which cannot be said about the stem and roots. They contain a yellow poisonous substance.
The milestone is one of the most dangerous plants. If a person tries it, he will have severe convulsions. A 100 gram milestone is enough to provoke the death of a large animal.
3. Buttercup
This flower can be found in a variety of places: in the forest, in a meadow, next to a reservoir, near the road. Its seeds are carried by birds.
I don't think I need to tell you what buttercups look like? Small yellow flowers with a cute name that hides a lot of meaning. It turns out that the plant is so called because it is fierce: the leaves, roots, stems and inflorescences of buttercups are very poisonous.
Some species of this plant have ways to exude poisonous fumes. The suspension contained in the stems leaves burns on the human body. If you decide to pick a yellow flower, wear rubber gloves, and preferably use a respirator.
When a flower comes into contact with the mucous membranes, spasms of the larynx occur, ulcers form, and even vision may disappear for a while.
4. Lily of the valley
Many lilies of the valley grow in gardens and dachas. Several flower colonies grow on one rhizome. At the very beginning of their growth, lilies of the valley resemble wild garlic. But if you mix it up and eat the flower, a burn will remain on the larynx.
Lily of the valley has a very bright, tasty aroma. Fortunately, the scent does not harm the human body. If the plucked flower is put into water at home, then this water will become unsuitable for watering the beds or flower beds.
When the petals fall from the lilies of the valley, orange fruits appear on the plant, reminiscent of lingonberries. It is strictly forbidden to eat them, since you can get a serious shipment.
