Designer Ksenia Usanova designed a 68 m² euro-apartment for a young couple with a child. The apartment is in the old building. Previously, it was one of the constituent parts of a large communal apartment, so the layout turned out to be non-standard. For example, you can only get to the bathroom from the kitchen.

  • total area: 68 m²
  • A place: Moscow
  • Number of rooms: euro two
  • Budget: 7 million rubles
  • Who lives here: young couple with a child

Layout

First of all, I had to deal with large-scale rough work - to strengthen the floors, change the floor screed, dismantle non-load-bearing shingle partitions, and also equip noise insulation.

Living room

The living room space is eclectic. Modern accent details are combined with classic - stucco, chandelier and floor lamp silhouettes.

Most of the walls in the room are covered with decorative plaster. She became the backdrop for bright furniture and decor. The crimson sofa was placed with its back to the aisle to define the boundaries of the functional area. There was wallpaper on the wall behind the TV.
The area of the premises also made it possible to equip the workplace.

Kitchen

The kitchen was separated from the living room with a sliding partition. Thanks to this solution, it was possible to preserve the gas stove in the kitchen, and also let in more light into the room. The tiles were used only in food preparation areas.

After renovation. Because of the door to the bathroom, the set had to be divided into two blocks - the built-in refrigerator and the hob with the oven were moved closer to the window, and the section with the sink was “packed” into a niche at the entrance. A row of shallow cabinets in the lower tier provide additional storage space.
The dining group was moved to the wall. Wall sconces were used to illuminate this area.

Bedroom

The bedroom was decorated with decorative plaster in two shades. The accent wall behind the headboard was highlighted in blue. The center of visual attraction was the bedside tables and chest of drawers with different facades and original handles, they were made according to the designer's idea.

Children

The nursery is designed for a girl. On the walls, we combined two types of wallpaper - plain and patterned. They are complemented by a bright piping on the ceiling. On 10 m², it was possible to accommodate a sleeping place, storage systems, a sports corner and an area for creativity.

Hallway

The "dirty" area in the hallway was highlighted with large-format porcelain stoneware. Sliding wardrobe doors with mirror inserts were made to order. Along the other wall there are doors leading to the bathroom and utility block.

Bathroom

On the walls in the bathroom and toilet, tiles and moisture-resistant wallpaper were combined. This decision helped to diversify the traditional finish. Also, brass plumbing fixtures and fittings were used in both rooms, connecting them with a single concept.
