Designer Katerina Kolmychenkodesigned a 69 m² euro-apartment for a couple and their pet. Customers' children have already grown up and live separately. The interior is dominated by natural colors, not without bright accents. Since a dog lives in the apartment, all finishing materials have passed vandal-proof testing.

  • House type: RC "LIFE Botanical Garden"
  • Number of rooms: euro two
  • Who lives here: married couple
  • Budget: 5 million rubles
  • Designer: Katerina Kolmychenko

Layout

The space of a two-room apartment was reformatted to accommodate two people. The second room was abandoned, which increased the area of the bedroom, a second bathroom and a large dressing room appeared.

Living room

In the living room, we managed to form a zone for a comfortable daily pastime. Instead of a standard armchair, the upholstered group was supplemented with a couch. The coffee table was made to order.

The drawing on the wall behind the sofa became a bright accent, and also helped to tie the entire interior together; the designer herself prepared a sketch for it.

Kitchen

The kitchen set was built in a U-shape. All equipment was placed in tall pencil cases, and the standard upper tier was abandoned. A shallow open cabinet took its place. To increase the amount of storage space, mezzanines were used.

The apron, as if made of glass blocks, was actually tiled. To visually extend this zone, a mirror was fixed on the adjacent wall. On the floor, tiles were used only in the food preparation area.
The protruding part of the headset was supplemented with a wooden tabletop with a metal base, which acts as a dining table and at the same time a zoning element. The part facing the living room is a shelving unit with open and closed sections.

Bedroom

The bedroom was divided into several functional areas and almost all were marked with a separate color. The sleeping place was framed with a green "headboard", and the work table was highlighted with a blue stripe. The recreation area is neutral, but there is a bright blue sofa in it. Also, at the expense of textiles, a little pink was added.

Hallway

Bright painting on the wall helped to diversify the neutral decoration of the hallway. A utility block was located in the corridor: behind the accordion doors, they hid a washing and drying machine, as well as equipment for steaming clothes. Facades in the color of the walls helped to "dissolve" the cabinet in the wall.

Bathrooms

The master bathroom can be accessed from the dressing room next to the bedroom. An interesting solution was the use of a triangular niche for arranging shelves. Black elements - plumbing fixtures, glass partition framing and accessories - helped to make the calm white and beige color scheme a little more expressive.

Tiles were used to decorate the "wet" areas in the guest bathroom, and the upper part of the walls and ceiling were painted in a deep blue shade. This solution helped to avoid standardization and make a reference to the interior of other rooms.
