Today it was announced that from September 1, 2021, transfers on land transport will become free in Moscow. But there is a nuance.

Ground transport transfers are now free. But not for everyone

Have you noticed in the picture? Yeah, "Link your Troika card to your personal account in the Moscow Metro application or at new.mosmetro.ru. Free transfers will turn on automatically within 12 hours. " That is, transplants will be free only for those who link Troika to their personal account.

It all works as follows: if you get on a bus or tram and attach a Troika, 42 rubles will be charged. After that, within 90 minutes, you can change to other buses, trams and electric buses and it will be free. When transferring to the metro, 23 rubles will be charged during this time.

When changing from the metro to surface transport, everything remains as it was: 42 rubles are debited in the metro, when transfer to land transport is charged 23 rubles, and further transfers to land transport are free.

But 90 minutes is not always enough, because Moscow has become big. For example, when I go to the dacha, I sit at the Botanichesky Sad MCC station, then I change for free on the Shelepikha metro station and get to the Rasskazovka metro station, where I take a bus. At the time of boarding the bus, it is just 90 minutes. If I'm lucky, the MCC train arrived immediately and the bus doesn't have to wait, 23 rubles are written off, and if the bus does not arrive immediately, but after 10 minutes, 42 rubles are written off - 90 minutes are over.

P.S. Let me remind you that from today until the new year there is a special offer when paying in the metro with Mir cards (https://ammo1.livejournal.com/1264578.html).
