Among the road signs there are two very similar in purpose, but still different. One of them, the so-called "brick" 3.1 or "no entry" (this is the name under which it is indicated in the traffic rules) looks like a white rectangle on a red circle. The second sign “traffic is prohibited” 3.2. Is a white circle with a red border. The external differences are understandable, but based on the name, we can conclude that the signs have a certain similarity.
Indeed, both the first and the second signs are representatives of the same group - prohibiting. The first does not allow you to enter, and the second - to move in a certain direction. And now about the difference. There are three significant differences between them that should not be forgotten.
1. The ban does not apply to everyone
"Brick" is a sign that prohibits drivers from entering. But here, too, there is an exception to the general rule. It does not apply to route vehicles. But the road sign "No traffic" provides for several exceptions. The driver has the right to pass without risking being fined for violating traffic rules, provided that:
- is driving a route vehicle;
- works or lives in the territory where this sign was installed before entering it;
- manages transport postal transport (federal post office);
- the driver is disabled or disabled is his passenger (there must be a special sticker on the car).
2. Directions
The road sign "brick" prohibits the car to move in a certain direction. In the case of the sign "traffic prohibited", you must not move in any direction - do not enter, do not leave.
3. Penalties
For violation of traffic rules in any case, a fine will be issued. If the driver drove under the "brick", he will be sentenced to pay a fine in the amount of 500 - 5000 rubles (situations on the road can be very different), and they can take away the rights for 4-6 months. With the second sign, everything is much easier. Often the driver only receives a warning. Well, if he is fined, then up to 500 rubles, no more.

It will be equally useful to know who should pay a fine for unfastened rear passengers and how to avoid punishment.
