With the onset of cold weather, the cadets on the guard of honor switch to winter uniform. Shoes with bear fur inside keep the feet from freezing, warm underpants, a woolen coat with fur lining, and a quilted jacket with natural fur (it is worn in severe frosts) prevent the body from freezing.
But there are also subtleties of warming up sentries in the winter time. Guards stand in strictly designated places. And for good reason! There's more than just tiles under their feet.
