How to prepare the site and seedlings
It is recommended to plant the plant in a lighted area that is not waterlogged. You should not choose an area where there is always a draft.
A year before planting raspberries, it is recommended to plant siderates. So the earth will be cleansed of harmful elements, and the green mass itself will serve as a fertilizer.
Gardeners use both root cuttings and the seedlings themselves. The second option is preferable. Near the roots, the diameter of the seedling should be about 6-8 mm.
Landing
You need to dig a hole about 27-30 cm deep. Put half a bucket of rotted manure in the hole. The seedling should be watered and removed from the pot. Then it is placed in a hole and covered with soil. After that, everything is watered and mulched.
In the fall, constant watering of the plant is not needed. But if the soil is very dry, you can do it once a week.

To protect raspberries from spider mites and other pests, you can use Fufanon, Intavir and Actellik.
The raspberry beetle dies from the infusion of marigolds and wormwood. You need to take 100 g of these plants and fill them with a liter of water. Both infusions should stand for two days. Next, they are mixed and cultivated around the raspberries.
Kidney moth will go away if you use the drugs "Confidor", "Decis" and "Iskra".
The fight against glass and caterpillar is effective with Nitrafen and Karbofos. You can also dissolve 100 g of mustard in 5 liters of water and spray the raspberries with the composition.
Trimming
In the fall, it is necessary to carry out prevention of thickening of the bush. Pruning will help you fight pests more effectively. If the plant is planted this year, then a gentle procedure is performed. Only the shoots at the ends are cut off. 7-8 branches are left on each bush. Better to do this on the eve of frost. If you cut raspberries in warm weather, then new buds and shoots are likely to appear, which is undesirable in the fall.
Shoots that are 2 years old and have already yielded must be cut off completely.
Weak and disease-damaged branches must be removed. They are burned if there is a trace of fungus and insects.
Transfer
In central Russia, remontant raspberries can be transplanted throughout September and early October. In cold and rainy weather, the procedure is not performed. The plant is recommended to be transplanted into sandy and loamy soil with low acidity. A month before the procedure, the earth should be dug up and loosened. Only strong and healthy bushes can be transplanted.
