Designers from the studio FLATFORFOX designed a 66 m² two-room apartment for a married couple. The customers wanted a functional space based on light colors and wooden textures.

  • total area: 66 m²
  • A place: Moscow
  • Number of rooms: 2
  • Budget: 5 million rubles
  • Who lives here: married couple

The apartment was rented out with preliminary finishing, but it left much to be desired - a crack went along one of the walls, so it had to be dismantled and rebuilt. The redevelopment was insignificant - a separate bathroom was combined and a second doorway in the kitchen was laid.

Living room

The light range of the living room was supplemented with dark elements - a radiator, sockets and built-in lamps. And the hidden black baseboard made the walls "float" in the air.

The voluminous sofa was placed with its back to the window. The place of the TV was taken by a projector, its screen was built into the ceiling.
Hanging furniture helps to lighten the interior - a chest of drawers and a desk with a side. The workplace was designed for two people.
A recreation area was arranged on the loggia - they installed a curbstone with a soft seat and storage space inside. Its back is a box in which the air conditioner was hidden.

Kitchen

The doorway leading into the kitchen was closed with glass sliding doors. When they are open, the kitchen and living room feel almost like one space. Columns with equipment were built into the niche where the second doorway was located.

The role of the dining table is played by the bar counter, it flows smoothly into the windowsill. Glass surfaces - the support of the bar counter, the door of one of the wall cabinets - made the interior more dynamic due to the variety of textures.

Bedroom

For the decoration of the walls in the bedroom, we chose a light gray paint. There is an engineering board on the floor and behind the headboard. A reading corner was organized next to the window - a wall-to-wall cabinet was built in with storage compartments. A system of built-in wardrobes was placed at the foot of the bed.

Hallway

They decided to add colors to the interior of the hallway. For this, the partition with the bathroom was painted blue, the facades of the storage system were decorated to match it. One of the cabinets was made mirrored; a utility block with a washing and drying machine was hidden in it.

Bathroom

The area of the combined bathroom was almost 10 m2. This made it possible to place here not only a bath, but also a large shower. Porcelain stoneware under concrete and wood imitation was used for decoration. All plumbing was built-in.
