Today, a tariff has appeared on the MTS website, which used to be only for the elite. Alas, it was not without a catch.
MTS has had the "Smart for their own" tariff for a very long time. It is intended for MTS employees and their relatives (each MTS employee receives 10 connection codes). With a very moderate monthly fee of 200 rubles, this tariff gives many minutes, SMS and gigabytes, no payment for roaming when traveling around the country, and, of course, no automatic paid subscriptions, spam from the operator, etc. garbage. Regular tariffs often worsen over time, the tariff for their own only improves: this year the volume of traffic included in the monthly package has doubled: from 10 GB to 20 GB.
I've been using Smart for my friends for five years now (https://ammo1.livejournal.com/766812.html) and when there was an opportunity, he transferred all those close to him.
Today on the MTS website there is a tariff “Smart for our own. New Year's "(https://moskva.mts.ru/personal/mobilnaya-svyaz/tarifi/vse-tarifi/smart_newyear
), in many respects repeating the legendary domestic tariff. For 250 rubles a month they give 20 GB, 500 minutes and 200 SMS per month. This is much more profitable than all other tariffs of MTS and other operators.The Internet package works throughout Russia, if the traffic exceeds 20 GB, you can buy 500 MB packages for 99 rubles (personally, I spend about 10 GB per month).
The call and SMS package is valid only for numbers in the home region.
Judging by the word "New Year" in the name of the tariff and the inscription "Hurry up to buy!", Connection will be possible only until the end of the year.
Where is the catch, you ask? And here it is: MTS subscribers will not be able to switch to this tariff.
Unfortunately, “Smart for their own. New Year's Eve ”can be obtained in only two ways: buy a new SIM card or switch from another operator. The most stubborn of course can try to have time to switch from MTS to another operator, and after a month return to this tariff, but you may not be in time.
Nevertheless, for many, this tariff will be the most profitable of all that all operators have in Moscow, and for those who are few calls, writes SMS and uses a small amount of Internet traffic, the Beeline "Communication Z" tariff, which I wrote about, will be beneficial yesterday (https://ammo1.livejournal.com/1283425.html).
