Why is Kingston withholding the write speed of MicroSD Canvas Select Plus cards

The packaging of the 128GB Kingston Canvas Select Plus memory card proudly says "100 MB / s".
It turned out that its real speed of work is significantly different from this beautiful number, but this is a big oooo secret of the manufacturer.

Having bought this card, I checked its speed on a computer and smartphone. First, I installed the card in a high-speed card reader ORICO CRS12 USB3.0 5Gbps and connected it to a USB 3.0 computer port.

CrystalDiskMark scored 86MB / s linear read and 20MB / s write. Suddenly. )

Other tests showed approximately the same speed.

AS SSD Benchmark.

ATTO Disk Benchmark.

USB Flash Benchmark.

I installed the card in the Huawei P10 Plus smartphone and ran the CPDT test. The results are approximately the same, only reading is a little slower (perhaps the smartphone itself cannot cope).

So why did the write speed turn out to be only 20-25 MB / sec? It turns out that no one promised 100 MB / s. Take a close look at the title photo: next to "100 MB / s" there is a letter "R" in a box, then this is the reading speed.

And what recording speed does it indicate to produce? But none! The write speed is not indicated on the packaging, everything is funny on the manufacturer's website: for this series of cards, the write speed is indicated only for cards with a volume of 256 GB or more.

For 32-128 GB cards, only UHS-I, U1, V10 speed classes are indicated. They are also indicated on the packaging and on the card itself.

Do you know what this means? On the site of the same Kingston there is an article "Guide to speed classes for SD and microSD cards": https://www.kingston.com/ru/solutions/personal-storage/memory-card-speed-classes. There is such a plate in the article.

U1 and V10 are just a write speed of at least 10 MB / s. So, the 20-25 MB / s I got is an excellent result for this class.

By the way, U30 cards with a guaranteed write speed of at least 30 MB / s cost one and a half times more. I bought this card for 912 rubles, and the cheapest 128 GB U3 class card costs 1440 rubles.
