Any clothing requires certain care, it needs to be cleaned, ironed and not thrown anywhere. Simple operations take a little time and do not cause any problems. Difficulties begin when things have to be washed. Of course, almost everyone has a washing machine at home, but it may not always help, and in a number of cases, home washing will surely ruin a beautiful thing. In especially difficult cases, they turn to the services of a dry cleaner, whose specialists know exactly how to put things in order without spoiling them.
Rescue service for things
People have long been using chemicals to wash things, originally, for example, it was lye. With the development of technology, much more advanced detergent compositions have appeared that can cope with most of the dirt. If they can't help, there are bleaches and stain removers. But it is not always possible to wash, and in some cases it is completely useless. Things made from natural fabrics shrink, some materials completely lose their appearance after washing, and the use of bleach can do harm. Fortunately, there is currently a service such as dry cleaning with delivery, thanks to which not the slightest trace will remain from the stains, and things will be taken directly from home, and then returned to the specified address.
Dry cleaning of clothes
When household detergents are not effective enough, and the washing process itself is categorically contraindicated, they turn to cleaning with chemicals. For dry cleaning, anhydrous solvents are used, which is why the process is called dry. Most often, perchlorethylene is used, it dissolves fat perfectly and removes dirt along with it. The only drawback of the composition is its aggressiveness: it allows you to practically wash off everything, but at the same time the color of the material may fade, in addition, protective cover. A softer cleaning is obtained using hydrocarbons, organic solvents, or silicone. The downside of soft cleaning is insufficient efficiency, therefore it will not cope with heavy dirt. Also, aqua cleaning can be attributed to sparing methods. In this case, water is used with detergents dissolved in it, which are selected depending on the nature of the stains and the degree of pollution.
For dry cleaning, special machines are used, somewhat reminiscent of washing machines, only reagents are used instead of water. Dry cleaning is a completely closed cycle. After the machine has completed its program, the remaining cleaning agent is distilled. The reagent is passed through an evaporator, and the resulting vapor is again condensed into a pure substance suitable for reuse. All that remains is dirt with a small amount of solvent.
Where to begin
Before handing over things to dry cleaning, you should make sure that this can be done at all. Some things cannot be processed in this way, as the crossed out circle on the tag will tell you about. Otherwise, there will be a circle on the label with the letter P, F or W inscribed, which indicates the possibility of subjecting the item to dry cleaning with perchlorethylene, hydrocarbons or water cleaning, respectively. Dry cleaning is a rather serious procedure, therefore, you should first discuss its type with the receptionist and mention the cost of the item if it is expensive. It is best to cut the buttons off as they can be damaged by the solvent.
Thanks to dry cleaning prices always remain at an acceptable level, you can try to restore things by removing dirt and stains from them, instead of purchasing new ones.
