Covering wood tung, teak and tar oil, you will not harm her in any way. The only negative is that such oils are expensive. The optimal option remains - processing sunflower oil. Only now it will not save from rotting wood.

Another argument in favor of petroleum jelly is its cost: about 40 rubles per bottle. It turns out that the price of one liter of this product is no more than 350-400 rubles.
You can treat wood with lamp oil, which is even more budgetary than petroleum jelly: about 200 rubles per liter. But it contains olive oil and is therefore less effective.
After impregnating the wood, you need to wait 15-20 minutes, then wipe it with a dry cloth. Can be soaked a second time if necessary. This will darken the wood a little, but in general it will not spoil the appearance of the wood.
