I bought a small Bluetooth receiver for 133 rubles in order to listen to music from the phone through the speakers in the new Lamptest laboratory. This miracle of Chinese engineering came with an unpleasant surprise.
This thing is called "Car Bluetooth B09". Everything instantly connected, no phonics, plays. The codec is the simplest SBC, but I didn't expect anything else from a device for that kind of money.
I sit, listen to music, and understand that something is not right. And the sound is mono!
At first I thought that there was a problem with the settings, I climbed into the engineering menu of the phone and made sure that stereo sound was transmitted via Bluetooth.
And then I just measured the resistance between the outputs with a multimeter and made sure that they were just stupidly closed among themselves (the photo is not very good, but believe me, I do not close the contacts with probes).
The word "Stereo" is written on the box many times, but it is written very cleverly:
"Supports A2DP stereo profile" - yes, it does (the phone showed it);
"3.5 mm stereo jack" - yes, it's a three-pin connector, that's it;
"Supports wireless playback of stereo music" - well, yes, it plays stereo music in monophonic format.
But nobody promised stero sound. :)
Surely there is a microcircuit with a stero output inside. But the Chinese saved half a cent by not soldering some simple detail and stupidly closed the outputs: why, "it will do just that."

Everyone is happy, everyone is happy with everything, you think, the sound is mono. I have no words. This is what the "lo-fi" equipment brought the people to, they don't care either stereo or mono.
