Blogger Katya Dorokhina, together with her husband, designed a 41 m² euro-apartment for themselves and their two children. The interior is designed in a Scandinavian style - with white walls and lots of greenery. Many pieces of furniture were made by ourselves, some were purchased from IKEA.
- total area: 41 m²
- A place: Angarsk, Irkutsk region
- House type: "Khrushchev" built in 1975
- Number of rooms: euro two
- Ceiling height: 2.5 m
- Who lives here: family with two children
- Blogger: Katya Dorokhina
Living room
Tiles were laid on the floor in the combined kitchen-living room, the walls were painted white. The fold-out sofa provides an extra bed. The TV area was highlighted with slats, this helped to diversify the finish and create an accent. Numerous live plants act as decor.
Kitchen
The headset was lined up in a linear fashion. To save money, we chose a freestanding oven. This solution looks harmoniously in the chosen style of the kitchen. The facades were originally green, they were replaced with white ones in 2019. An interesting solution was the combination of wall cabinets with open shelves.
Bedroom
The bedroom serves as a sleeping place for all family members. It was conventionally divided into two zones - adult and children's. The adult has a double bed, a chest of drawers and a restored Soviet armchair, the nursery has two small beds and a wardrobe.
Balcony
White paint and lining were used to decorate the balcony. Thanks to competent planning, its functionality was expanded. Catherine's husband designed a drawer bench and a built-in storage system against the opposite wall.
Bathroom
On the floor in the bathroom, tiles were laid under a tree, tiles and waterproof paint were combined on the walls. The sink was deliberately abandoned so that the space did not look cluttered. Dark grouting of light-colored tiles meets modern trends.
