Designer Tatyana Petrova designed a 48 m² euro duplex for a man over 60 years old. The space to work with was a basement in a guest house on the Black Sea coast. The main challenge turned out to be to make the customer's dream of billiards come true.
total area: 48 m²
A place: Sevastopol
Number of rooms: euro two
Ceiling height: 2.5-2.8 m
Who lives here: Man
Designer:Tatiana Petrova
Layout
Due to the fact that the premises are basement, it was necessary to solve two problems: to preserve access to communications on the ceiling and to plan a technical room. The first was dealt with with the help of beams and chipboard sheets: to get to the pipes, they can be moved at any time. And the technical room was equipped next to the bathroom.
The central place in the living room was occupied by billiards. To be able to play, it was necessary to maintain an impressive indent on all sides. This influenced the arrangement of other furniture.
The recreation area was marked with soft panels. The couch with storage boxes flows smoothly into the shelving. Open storage systems with a built-in bar counter were launched along the opposite wall. There was also a place for a TV between the shelves.
Kitchen
The kitchen was set up behind a partition with a bedroom. A small corner set contains everything you need: built-in refrigerator, microwave oven, dishwasher. White facades blend in with the walls without overloading the space. A wide window sill can be used as an additional work surface.
The dining group was placed at the window on the border of the kitchen and living room. The silhouette of the chandelier duplicates the shape of the dining table below it.
Bedroom
Since the bedroom was denied access to the windows, the entrance was hidden behind a transparent glass partition. The rails were extended to the kitchen so that it could also be insulated. To let in more natural light, a transom was provided in the partition with the kitchen.
Blue color prevails in the decoration of the room. Wallpaper was used for the walls, laminate was laid on the floor. Storage systems have been built around the headboard, clothes are stored in tall cabinets.
Hallway
The "dirty" area at the entrance was highlighted with tiles. For reasons of practicality, they also brought it up to the wall. Of the furniture, only a shoe rack, a pouf and a floor hanger for outerwear were installed here.
Bathroom
In the decoration of the bathroom, several types of tiles and wood-like porcelain stoneware were combined. A tiled door leads to the technical room. The washing machine was hidden in a cabinet under the sink.
Brass plumbing fixtures and fittings add a special accent to the interior.
