Will the overflow withstand the water pressure?

In the photo above, you can see the beginning of the experiment. Pre-recorded the meter readings before the mixer was supplied with water, thereby calculating the volume of water at which the overflow will start to "choke", in case of an unfortunate coincidence of circumstances.

Water confidently filled the sink until it overflowed, the liquid "fell" into the hole, slowing down the filling of the bowl. Photos with comments are uploaded to the gallery, scroll through.

The bowl was completely filled with water in 1.5 minutes
The overflow resisted, sucking in water for a minute.

The experiment used 13 liters of cold water and 11 liters of hot water. Every sane reader of my blog, of whom the majority are among my subscribers, will draw conclusions from the experiment. From SW. Mikhailov Victor (plumber). Link to the new overflow cleaning method here.
