Warm floor, I fill it with my own hands. I am using a new method of installation of "Struna" beacons (personal development)

I carry out the installation of a warm floor with my own hands from corrugated stainless steel, now the stage of filling the screed is underway. For this business, I developed a method for mounting lighthouses in a new way, now, in theory and in practice, I will convey my model. "Old believers" and people who do not perceive anything new, please go past the article.

Beacon profile.

Earlier, I filled in the bathing department, where I used a beacon profile, which was installed at the level of the "flip flops". The inconvenience of this method is that the solution under the beacons needs to harden, and this is a day. Further, as for me, they are not reliable, there is always the possibility of knocking them down. And if they are installed on expanded polystyrene (insulation), then the beacons are on a weak base, which is not very good.

Warm floor, I fill it with my own hands. I am using a new method of installation of " Struna" beacons (personal development)

I didn't like the above standard method: Firstly, the beacons cost money, a three-meter high, about 100 rubles. Accordingly, after the screed has set, they are removed and thrown away, money down the drain. A dreary long installation, with a mixture of mortar for flip flops. There is a high probability of knocking down an exposed beacon.

Having thought about it, I thought ... Then I thought a little more and came up with a new idea for marking the screed. Naturally, I doubted its correctness. But after 28 mixes of concrete in a concrete mixer, I came to the conclusion that such beacons, invented by me, have the right to life. Therefore, I decided to tell my reader about this technological solution.

To bring it to life, I needed 16 meter hairpins with a diameter of 8 mm, they cost me 30 rubles per unit. I also purchased connectors, nuts, and washers. I bought it in a special hardware store, the total amount for all the good is 900 rubles and a penny.

And so, we got acquainted with the materials, we proceed to the installation:

We set the level of the required screed height, make marks on two parallel walls. With a perforator, I drill aerated concrete blocks with a thickness of 300 mm through. I collect the studs into a single, long bar. I insert it into the hole and install nuts from the outside of the building. I tighten it with an open-end wrench. All photos in the gallery, please scroll through:

While the tightening is in progress, the bar is stretched like a string, but in any case it is necessary to install additional supports in the center of the string in order to reduce the sagging. For this case, I used dense polystyrene foam. Later, you can dig it out, and pour concrete into the hole.

Having thus established two strings, along the length of the proposed screed, we proceed to mixing the concrete and stretching it along the floor. To do this, I use a rule and a homemade vibrating screed. The next day I dismantle one "String" and install it further in order to continue the process.

I did all the screed filling work alone. I made 7 batches a day with a concrete mixer. In the morning I set the "string" and began to work in the sweat of my brow. I liked this method. Since the pins are not thrown away, but become reusable beacons. Also, after all the work, I plan to use them on the farm, cleaning the threads.

In addition, there are still non-standard ideas for construction and plumbing. channel here.
