I cannot complain about the poor harvest of peppers and eggplants, especially since I have long known the peculiarities of their cultivation, but I still look at the lunar calendar. I usually sow peppers and eggplants 8-10 weeks before the planned date of transplantation in open ground, i.e. I have to sow the seeds approximately in February-March. Before sowing, I soak them for half an hour in a pale pink solution of potassium permanganate, and then gently rinse them under running water from the tap. Further, everything is according to the usual scheme: I wrap the seeds in a damp cloth and put them next to the battery. I am waiting for them to hatch, I sow them in containers filled with previously disinfected soil. I cover the containers with landings with glass or polyethylene and leave them warm. I do not like to plant a large number of seeds in one container and immediately plant 1-2 seeds in cups so that I do not further stress them during the pick. The best times to land in 2022 will be when the Moon is in Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces. You can also sow on the so-called Days of Fruit, when the companion is in Aries, Leo and Sagittarius.

When forming into a single stem, remove all excess lateral shoots. To keep the bush neat, I pinch the top of the pepper at a height of 25 centimeters, and for eggplants - 30 centimeters. It is better to shape the bush on the waning moon, on days when it is in Aquarius, Taurus, Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Capricorn.
Weeds should be removed very carefully so as not to damage the delicate roots of the plants. Weeding is good on a new moon or on a waning moon.
