Anyone who remembers the packaging of the famous Citizen 888 office calculator must have thought at first that it was in the photo. But this is a Chinese clone, and which they messed up even where it seemed impossible to mess up.
I bought a cheap calculator for the Lamptest laboratory for 315 rubles, thinking that they copied one-to-one (the original now costs as much as one and a half thousand) (use the phone as a calculator every time uncomfortable).
Successfully copied only the name and packaging design. Everything else could not be copied - they "improved".
The copy is smaller.
The original has a convenient large distance between the buttons, the copy buttons are located close.
The original has a large convenient "=" button, the copy has a small one.
The original has large, well-read numbers on the display; for some reason, the copy has them stretched vertically.
The original on the button "5" has a groove for tactile finding it, the copy of course does not have it.
Well, of course, the buttons on the original are pressed pleasantly and quietly, on the copy they rattle and their stroke is too large.
Well, the quality of the buttons could not be copied, but why spoil everything else? Even if they called it the same, the design was stolen (including the box), what prevented everything else from being done one-on-one?
I do not complain and do not even regret the purchase (in the laboratory, a calculator is not very often needed, and there such will do), I'm just curious what drove the developers when they swapped the buttons, making them uncomfortable.
