This recipe was used by my grandmother, she cooked cabbage in a similar way. It would seem that ordinary cabbage can be turned into a delicious dish, but you can! And now I will tell you how to do it easily and simply.
Here's what you'll need:
- A small head of cabbage up to 1 kg;
- 2 eggs;
- Flour 2 tbsp. spoons;
- Salt, black pepper, ground garlic to taste;
- Milk about 50 ml.
As you can see, there are not many ingredients and they are not expensive.
Step 1.
Cabbage should be cut into 4 parts.
Step 2
Pour enough water into a suitable size pot to completely submerge the cabbage. Bring the water to a boil, add salt and immerse the cabbage.
Cook the cabbage over low heat under the lid for 15-20 minutes, until tender. After the cabbage is cooked, take it out of the water, cool and let the water drain.
Step 3
Now let's prepare the breading. Break 2 eggs into a deep cup, add 2 tablespoons of flour, salt, black pepper and ground garlic to taste. If you do not like garlic and pepper, then you can without them.
Beat the whole mixture with a whisk until smooth and pour in a little milk.
Step 4
Cut the cooled cabbage into slices 2-3 cm thick.
Step 5
Dip chopped cabbage in breadcrumbs and spread on a preheated pan with a small amount of vegetable oil.
Fry on each side for a few minutes until golden brown.
That's all, a delicious cabbage dish is ready.
It can be eaten hot or cold as you like.
