Hello, friends!
Spring has already come, and summer is just around the corner, so today let's make cement flowerpots for a garden or a summer residence. Flowerpots are quite simple, but very beautiful, they can be made quickly and not expensive.
To make flowerpots I used:
- Cement brand M400;
- Ordinary quarry sand;
- Dense polyethylene;
- Aerosol paints in cans (sold on the construction market);
- Basin, spatula, water.
Step 1.
Pour into a plastic bowl 2 parts sand and 1 part cement. Mix well to dry. We add water little by little. The solution should be neither too thin nor too thick. One that fits well.
Step 2
We spread the polyethylene and pour out the finished solution. We smooth the solution with our hands to make a cake with a thickness of about 2-3 cm.
Be sure to use rubber gloves, otherwise the cement will corrode your hands.
Step 3
When the cake is ready, lift it by the polyethylene and place it in a bowl, as shown in the photo. We slightly correct the edges of the solution. In the bottom of the future flowerpot we make several holes to drain the water. Let dry for 24 hours.
Step 4
We use spray paints. Choose the color to your liking. We paint carefully, better by 2 times, so the flowerpot will last much longer.
That's all, the flowerpots are ready, now they can decorate the garden. We plant plants in a flowerpot that you like and admire!
