For about a week now, bonus cards and the Pyaterochka store mobile app have not been working. At the same time, there are many goods on the shelves with special prices that are valid upon presentation of cards.
I learned how to buy these products at promotional prices and will tell you.
On the Pyaterochka website it says "Due to technical problems of a foreign contractor, points are not awarded or written off. All previously accumulated points are safe. Discounts, including when presenting a loyalty card, continue to be provided. We are also upset, because we ourselves are accumulating points. We apologize for any inconvenience caused".
My experience yesterday showed that despite this statement, card discounts do not work. But there was a way out.
When you take a product with a yellow price tag on the shelf, take a picture of this price tag. If at the checkout, upon presentation of the card, the price did not become promotional, ask to break the goods according to the price tag and show the cashier his photo. The cashier scans the barcode from the photo of the price tag and the price becomes promotional.
This also works at automatic checkouts - if the checkout reports that the loyalty card is invalid, call the employee and ask him to "break through the price tag" by presenting his photo.
Regarding the restoration of the work of the cards, the management of Pyaterochka writes “It is very difficult to determine the exact timing of the repair of the breakdown. We understand that this causes a lot of inconvenience. Please excuse us! Our specialists are doing everything possible to ensure that the service is restored as soon as possible.
