Snowfall is a type of sweet pepper characterized by early ripening, high germination rate and good fruiting. The first collection can be carried out 120 days after sowing the seeds. Subject to all agrotechnical measures, a bountiful harvest is actually guaranteed - the variety is considered very reliable. Suitable for growing in greenhouses and greenhouses (northern regions) or in open beds (warm southern regions).

This pepper is a representative of the first generation hybrids (as indicated on the label). Created almost by hand, it has a number of unique qualities:
- growth and fruiting in open ground;
- extended growing area;
- excellent taste and quality of fruits;
- high yields;
- strong and stable immunity.
The volume of the harvest is impressive - from one pepper per season you can get up to 5 kg of selected fruits.
The stems reach a height of 80 cm, have strong branches and, by the time of flowering, are overgrown with a lush deciduous crown. Bulky bushes need space for comfortable growth, so the planting scheme involves placing up to 4 plants per 1 square meter.
In culinary use, the variety is universal, it is perfect for fresh consumption, heat treatment and preservation.
The fruits grow up to 15 cm, gain up to 100 g of weight and have a cone-shaped shape with a smooth surface. The skin of the vegetable is thin, elastic, with the process of ripening from a milky-white hue smoothly turns to a slight redness. The fruit does not differ in particular fullness, however, the pulp is juicy and tender, and the walls reach a thickness of 8 mm.
Advantages and disadvantages
Their most tangible advantages, I can highlight the following characteristic features:
- fast maturation;
- cold resistance;
- excellent taste indicators;
- culinary versatility;
- suitability for commercial cultivation;
- prone to transportation and long-term storage.
Significant disadvantages:
- the vegetable is demanding on lighting and heat;
- mandatory preventive ventilation;
- fertile and saturated soil;
- the need for mandatory pinching and pinching;
- tall adult bushes require garters and supports.
Important care features
Seeds do not germinate well without additional stimulation - before planting, the material should be soaked alternately in a solution of potassium permanganate, growth enhancers and aloe juice.
The substrate for seedlings should be fertile and loose, as peppers require abundant air and nutrition.
Recipes for a self-prepared mixture:
- equal parts garden soil, turf, sand and humus;
- two shares of turf and one each of peat and sand.
As an organic fertilizer, add wood ash to the prepared soil (200 g for every 10 kg), their mineral elements - phosphorus and potassium.
Sowing seeds for seedlings begins at the end of February and depends on the time of transfer to permanent beds. The growing season of shoots before moving is 60 days.
At any stage of growth, Snowfall needs abundant watering and sufficient lighting, without them it loses inflorescences and ovaries, and the stems themselves slow down in development. Soil temperature should not fall below +20 degrees.
The variety necessarily requires hardening before transplanting.
In the matter of crop rotation, good precursors will be:
- cabbage;
- cucumbers;
- pumpkin;
- onion.
You can not plant a hybrid in place of tomatoes, potatoes and eggplants.
Despite a number of requirements, the variety is considered unpretentious and fertile.
