"Fitosporin" refers to systemic fungicides suitable for both disease treatment and prophylactic treatment. The drug is loved and respected by gardeners for its numerous productive qualities and significant efficiency. It is most useful for greenhouse vegetables, due to the high level of resistance to fungal pathogens. In addition, I will mention that "Fitosporin", along with healing qualities, enhances the immunity of the plant and helps him to survive stressful situations: illness, climatic changes, adaptation after transplantation and thinning.
"Fitosporin" is absolutely harmless to plants, humans and animals due to its natural composition. At the same time, I note that it is necessary to use such a powerful tool with care, accurately calculating the dosage.
Advantages and disadvantages
I will describe the positive and negative sides of the remedy.
Benefits include:
- absence of toxic components;
- safety for plants, animals, pollinating insects and humans;
- stimulation of growth and vegetation;
- strengthening immunity;
- a significant increase in fertility;
- universal use - suitable for all crops and soils;
- the possibility of using indoors - greenhouses and apartments;
- applicability at all stages of vegetation.
Among the significant shortcomings, I can highlight the following:
- the need to strictly follow the instructions and dosages;
- the negative effect of sunlight on efficiency.
I will also mention that the drug should be stored in a closed container at a temperature of + 2... + 30 ° C in a dark place. Shelf life is limited to one year.
When to apply?
The effectiveness of Fitosporin, in my opinion, lies in the fact that it is applicable not only for the treatment of diseases of tomato bushes. Its spectrum of action is much wider.
I use this preparation in many non-obvious procedures:
- when processing planting material;
- when disinfecting seeds before laying them for storage;
- for cleansing and nourishing the soil;
- in the process of standard care for seedlings and adult plants;
- to stimulate the processing of organic fertilizers.
How to apply?
"Fitosporin" is produced in the form of powder, paste and suspension. There is no particular difference between the release forms, however, the suspension is more often used to care for home plantings. The detailed instructions provide dosages for each individual case, however, gardeners often prepare universal concentrated solution, which is stored on the site and used throughout the season as need. Classic recipe: 200 g of product per 400 ml of water. In a glass container, such an infusion will calmly stand for a whole year without changes, if it is not subjected to severe overheating or cooling.
You can use "Fitosporin" at any stage of tomato development: from seed treatment to preventive watering of fruit-bearing bushes.
The greenhouse is characterized by spraying with the addition of the drug and watering.
External irrigation of the bushes is carried out once every one to two weeks, depending on the dryness of the summer - the more rains, the more often "Fitosporin" is used, since it is effective against putrefactive lesions. Watering with a solution is carried out once a month.
The most dangerous period in which it is permissible to use the remedy more often is the end of June - the beginning of July.
Therapeutic applications are carried out every 5 days.
I can no longer imagine my work on the site without such a universal assistant as Fitosporin.
