Have you ever thought about where during the flight the flight attendants rest and whether they rest at all? The flight can take a very long time. Are flight attendants all this time on their feet and huddled from passengers in a tiny service area and kitchen? In fact, the crew members have their own corner to relax.
The crew of a passenger aircraft has rest rooms, but not always. The fact is that the shift at the flight attendants cannot (by law) last more than 12 hours. Maintenance personnel, for obvious reasons, must interrupt their work at least for a short rest. Most often, crew lounges are located either at the front of the aircraft or above the business class. In most cases, the only way to get to these places is by a ladder hidden behind a locked door.
Of course, not all airliners have lounges for flight attendants. Airbus A320/A321, Boeing 737, Boeing 767/777 and Airbus A330/A350 have nothing of the kind. There are no rooms for flight attendants on the Superjet either. Airbus A380, Boeing 747, 777 and 787 Dreamliner are equipped with special sleeping quarters. In aircraft models "Boeing" 747 and 787 there is a sleeping room, but it is located in the rear of the side. It is because of the lounges that some "novice" aircraft passengers are perplexed why some flight attendants brought lunch and others brought dinner.

Pilots have the same rest rooms. Unlike stewardess rooms, they are available on a much larger number of boards. The pilot rooms themselves are smaller, but often better equipped. Most often, you can get into them only from the aircraft control cabin, fenced off from the rest of the side by a closing door. Everything is done in such a way that passengers do not even know that the crew is also resting and working in shifts.
If you want to know even more interesting things, then you should read about howitzer aircraft: what is the AS-130 "Spectrum".
