Xiaomi knows how to make popular fitness accessories. Back in 2015, MiBand managed to become the best-selling activity tracker. Now the brand has decided to consolidate its position in the market and, together with Huami, has released the long-awaited Amazfit smart watch. Waterproof and with a capacious battery.
Like other Xiaomi fitness gadgets, the device has excellent functionality and an affordable price. Huami Amazfit has a 1.34-inch display with a resolution of 300 × 300 pixels and runs on an as-yet unnamed dual-core processor with a frequency of 1.2 GHz. Performance is supported by 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal memory. There is also a heart rate sensor that is mandatory today. The battery capacity is 200 mAh, which provides battery life of up to five days in normal mode or about 30 hours with GPS turned on.
Another interesting feature of the watch is the ability to make digital payments in the AliPay system - currently available only in China. The new product runs on a new, specially developed operating system. Despite this, Amazfit can synchronize with the Mi Fit application. This way, it will be possible to transfer walking and running statistics to a smartphone running Android or iOS.
Xiaomi watches have a waterproof case certified to the IP67 standard. This time, the company’s engineers decided to refuse to impose additional services - any watch strap with a width of 22 mm will fit Amazfit.
Another, much more important difference from competitors than the advanced filling will be the cost of the new product. According to preliminary data, it will be no more than $120. You can pre-order now on our website. Deliveries will begin after August 31st.
