Teclast has released another updated tablet with a snap-on keyboard similar to the Microsoft Surface Teclast X16 Power. The update received a fresh Atom x5-Z8750 processor, replacing the x5-Z8700.
The new product features increased operating frequencies and an updated video core with a large number of universal pipelines. Almost Intel Core m3 - but one and a half times cheaper!
Instead of 2 GB of RAM of the previous version of Teclast X16, the update with the Power prefix has 8 gigabytes of modern LDDR3. Unfortunately, the storage capacity remains the same and is only 64 GB, and can only be expanded using a flash card or an external hard drive connected via microUSB 3.0 or USB-C.
As a screen, Teclast X16 Power uses a chic IPS matrix with a diagonal of 11.6 inches (1920 x 1080 pixels).
Additional equipment includes a Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n module, Bluetooth 4.0, a microHDMI port, stereo speakers and two cameras of 5 and 2 megapixels. The tablet can be equipped with a proprietary docking station with a built-in keyboard.
Like its progenitor, Teclast X16 Power is controlled using dual boot with Windows 10 and Android 5.1. The cost of the new item as part of the promotion is only $330.
