Official SJCAM reseller Viofo, which produces cameras under the GitUP brand, has released an update to its most popular GitUp camera Git2P. Now the device has learned to shoot 2160p video - which means it can now do REAL slow-motion!
And so, let's go! Let's start, as usual, with the hardware; the Git2P camera has a Novatek NTK96660 processor and an updated 16 MP MN34120PA matrix. Thanks to this, the standard list of supported Git2P recording formats has been expanded to include 2K video at 30 and 60 frames per second.
In addition to the main modes described above, Git2P has the ability to adjust the viewing angle to 170 and 120 degrees. MP4 video recording format with H.264 codec. Loop video recording allows you to use the camera as a video recorder. The camera has a built-in speaker for viewing video from the camera, a fairly good microphone and the ability to connect an external microphone via a miniUSB connector. The usual video outputs are microHDMI and Analog Video: Mini USB (cables for connection are purchased separately).
In total, the camera has three connectors: microHDMI, miniUSB and a slot for a microSD memory card. Cards up to 64Gb and at least class 10 are supported.
A distinctive feature of this camera is the ability to remotely control the camera not only from your smartphone via WiFi, but also from a control panel in the form of a wristwatch (purchased separately), which makes control even more more convenient. This device runs on a CR2032 battery.
As for size and weight, these parameters are not very different from popular action camera models. Weight is 64g. size 59 x 30 x 41mm.
