There is a new addition to the list of worthwhile set-top boxes: SCISHION presented a new box with the simple name AI ONE. As the name implies, the device claims to use artificial intelligence algorithms, and in general should delight with smart functionality.
SCISHION AI ONE is based on the Rockchip 3328 single-chip platform and is released in 2 versions: with 2 and 4 gigabytes of RAM. Why does a TV box need so much memory?
The Rockchip 3328 chip supports hardware decoding of 4K with HDR up to 60 frames per second and can process modern H.264/265. You can't do without 4 GB at maximum load. The younger version is suitable for those who do not plan to use the set-top box to its fullest and watch Blu-Ray Remux at the maximum bitrate with 5.1 channel sound.
For full video output, SCISHION AI ONE is equipped with modern, full-featured HDMI 2.0. So The same box supports a built-in microSD card reader, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 L.E.
The hardware interfaces are represented by two USB 2.0, one USB 3.0, a component video output, a composite digital audio output SPIDF and a LAN port.
Another nice feature of SCISHION AI ONE is the LED display on the front panel. It displays the status of the set-top box and the current time. Like good old times.
The operating system is Android 8.1 with Android TV shell. Google services are pre-installed. Voice input is also available to the user.
The new product would not be so attractive if its power were not supported by a pleasant price. Thus, the maximum version of SCISHION AI ONE with 4 GB of RAM costs only $79.99. The standard version is only $59.99.
In honor of the release of the new model, the company is offering discounts on other models of TV set-top boxes, including the popular SCISHION V99, SCISHION V88 Mars and SCISHION V88 Mars II.
