Xiaomi unexpectedly released a fundamentally new product for its line of home appliances: the Xiaomi Mi Laser Projection TV laser projector. Like other smart devices, the new product was released by the Mijia sub-brand and is part of the Mi ecosystem.
Xiaomi Mi Laser Projection TV - ultra-short throw projects with a laser instead of a lamp. Its filling allows you to create an image with a maximum diagonal of up to 150 inches. At the same time, the required distance to the screen is only 50 cm. The (actual) resolution of the resulting image is 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The image is enhanced using Advanced Laser Fluorescence Display Technology (ALPD 3.0). The picture contrast is 3000:1. The luminous flux is 5000 lm - just like in a movie theater. Not less.
An important feature is the built-in adjustment system: the Xiaomi projector can focus independently without user intervention, which allows it to be used as a presentation project when traveling. And regular installation becomes much easier.
The time between failures of Xiaomi Mi Laser Projection TV components is at least 25,000 hours. In total, the device will not require repair for 34 years, subject to 2 hours of daily use.
Interestingly, the projector is equipped with the ability to diffuse excess image light away from the user, thereby protecting the eyes.
The picture is complemented by an audio system built into the projector consisting of two high-frequency and two low-frequency speakers. In addition, the device allows you to connect external speakers in three ways.
The cost of the new product for Russian buyers is currently about 2 thousand dollars.
