A new audio delight from Xiaomi has appeared on free international sale: the Xiaomi Mi TV Speaker soundbar to replace the standard TV sound can now be purchased by anyone.
The new product is a multi-component system in a single body and a recognizable design: we can see approximately the same in Xiaomi’s compact Bluetooth speakers. The same rounded edges, white color.
The front side of Xiaomi Mi TV Speaker is hidden by light textiles. The top edge hides a row of recessed control buttons, and the back panel has a recessed area with a power button and connectors.
A standard mini-jack, RCA inputs and optical digital SPDIF are available to the user. The panel also connects via Bluetooth - not only to TVs, but also to other home electronics, for example, smartphones. Wireless connection is possible without disconnecting the wires.
The soundbar allows for both pendant and table mounting.
The soundbar is based on a pair of dome tweeters, a pair of 2.5-inch wideband drivers and 4 passive radiators. Thanks to the right combination of speakers, Xiaomi Mi TV Speaker reproduces sound in the range from 50 Hz to 25 kHz and easily replaces not only a standard television audio system, but also small remote two-way bookshelf speakers, equipped subwoofer. There are more than enough low frequencies.
The price of Xiaomi Mi TV Speaker for the international market is $140.
