The Elephone P8 series includes 3 devices: P8, P8 mini and P8 Max. An interesting selection - most brands are limited to 2 models. And more and more often - only 1. And Elephone adheres to the old tradition of releasing smartphones with similar hardware, but different screen diagonals. And all of them are flagship! A rarity, but for the buyer - a real paradise.
The younger Elephone P8 Mini is equipped with an excellent IPS screen with a diagonal of 5 inches and Full HD resolution. A powerful MediaTek processor and 4 GB of RAM are responsible for performance. In addition, a distinctive feature of the smartphone is a dual camera. It may seem that this model has let down its autonomy: the battery capacity is only 2700 mAh. But the energy-efficient platform allows it to work for up to a day without interruption.
The basic version of Elephone P8 is equipped with a screen of the same resolution and manufacturer, but with a diagonal of 5.5 inches. There is also 6 GB of RAM. But the camera of this model is single, albeit 21 megapixels. Autonomy reaches 2 days due to a capacious 3600 mAh battery.
The advanced Elephone P8 Max is an almost exact copy of the base model with some changes: a more powerful processor and a simplified camera. But the amount of RAM is only 4 GB.
All smartphones in the Elephone P8 line offer an all-metal body and a multi-function button on the front of the smartphone with a built-in fingerprint scanner. The devices run Android 7.1 and are expected to update to Oreo soon.
Not a bad choice - especially with current prices.
