Xiaomi has introduced the Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 tablet, which is already on sale on our website at a price of $289.
Xiaomi MiPad 3 is equipped with a 7.9-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2048 × 1536 pixels. Since with these parameters the pixel density of the screen is 326 ppi, the manufacturer calls it Retina. This name was introduced into use by the Apple Corporation, thus denoting matrices on which it is impossible to see with the naked eye that the image consists of individual pixels.

The volume of LPDDR3 RAM installed in Xiaomi MiPad 3 is 4 GB, and the built-in eMMC 5.0 flash drive holds 64 GB. The official specifications do not say anything about the presence of a microSD card slot, so it is most likely missing, just as it was missing in the previous generation of this tablet.
The resolution of the main and front cameras is 13 and 5 megapixels, respectively.
The tablet is equipped with a USB-C connector, Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11ac modules. The battery capacity is 6600 mAh, the device supports fast charging technology. The device runs on the Android 7.1 Nougat operating system with the proprietary MIUI 8 shell, and its dimensions are 200.4 × 132.6 × 6.95 mm and weighs 328 grams.
Because demand outstrips supply, the MiPad 3, priced at $289, is currently in limited supply. Delivery starts on April 20.
