- Mixing flows.
- The flow restriction.

The mixing of us, everything is clear, because most experts advise such decisions and shops are full of advertising mix with knots. But with the flow restriction is not all solved, so ...
This mounting solution underfloor circuit device directly in radiator heating line is called - a temperature control circuit using the return temperature limit.
This solution - not my invention, but the real way out of the situation without having a mixing unit. The method invented is not stupid people, these methods are used by an elite number of manufacturers (Danfoss, Herz, Oventrop (not advertising)), and this is sufficient that the system deserves attention!
The system is really very good and perfectly copes with its task. It takes place, as in the device with the "zero" and when mounted in a ready-made radiator network. Really helps when mistakenly did not include floor heating, and later it became necessary, or you need to heat only the bathroom and hallway, and a mixing unit for one / two smaller circuits to acquire a completely inexpedient.
The solution of the problem

How the system works
No matter what the temperature of coolant is supplied to the radiator system, the RTL valve does not open the passage a fluid circuit, while the return flow of coolant temperature will not correspond to a predetermined value on the housing products.
Let us examine an example: assume that RTL valve is set to 30 degrees. Once the temperature value in the circuit is reduced to 29, and takes the valve is slightly opened from a portion of the coolant line. As soon as the liquid passes the entire circuit and the temperature reaches the set value at the installation site RTL valve - it overlaps and again it is in standby mode until the temperature of the fluid in the circuit falls to the set values.

Benefits:
- ease of installation and adjustment;
- non-volatile;
- possibility of adjusting the temperature of the room where the circuit is mounted;
- excellent scalability;
- possibility of organizing more than 2 circuits without mixing unit;
- complex solution has a wall in the same housing (+ RTL air vent valve):
Disadvantages:
- the maximum loop length is 50 m (area of ~ 10-12 sq.m) - so I have to break up the large room.;
- difficult to use in a large hydraulic resistance systems.
If you have one / two rooms, I recommend to consider the use of the system at RTL. Not without reason this decision is available in the catalogs of leading manufacturers!
